Locals tabbed for all-state soccer squad

Several student-athletes from the Neighborhood were recently named to all-state teams for Class L and I boys and girls soccer.

Class L boys

First-team honors went to Manchester West senior forward James Earle, Bishop Guertin of Nashua senior forward Zack Schofield, Manchester Central senior back Kevin McGovern and Manchester Memorial senior back Wyeth McKinney.

The second team included Central senior forward Ben Gilde, BG senior midfielder Jared Miller, Goffstown senior back Morgan Peach and Memorial senior goalkeeper Phil Decosta.

Memorial senior forward Scott Jolicoeur, BG sophomore forward Kyle Joseph, Central senior forward Mirsad Karic, Memorial senior midfielder T.J. Pereira, West senior back Mike O’Brien, BG junior back Tom Zajac, Trinity senior keeper Chris Feltes and BG senior keeper Joe Putney received honorable mentions.

Class L girls

The first team included Memorial senior forward Kim Niedzwiecki, BG sophomore forward Lindsey Miller, West junior midfielders Alyssa Thayer and Leanne Vaillancourt, Central senior midfielder Lindsay Guidoboni, BG junior back Anjuli Demers and West senior back Laura Landau.

West sophomore forward Tory Earle, BG senior midfielder Lisa Gagne, Central senior back Laura DiSabato and BG senior keeper Alyssa Dutton made the second team.

BG sophomore forward Emily Winkler, Central senior forward Danna Frink, Central junior midfielder Katelyn Stewart, Goffstown junior midfielder Ashley Lafond, Trinity junior midfielder Jess Lacourse, West senior back Becca Francis, West junior back Michelle Dickson and Trinity senior keeper Danielle St. Pierre earned honorable mentions.

Class I boys

John Stark of Weare junior midfielder Grady Macklin, Pembroke Academy senior back Ross Dupont and JS senior keeper Andy Cloutier were honorable mention picks.

Class I girls

Stark sophomore keeper Josi Heer was a first-team selection.

PA seniors, midfielder Kaila Gray and back Kathy Tilton, earned second-team honors, and Stark senior back Ashley Tremblay was an honorable mention.
