PLYMOUTH – The New Hampshire Comets Junior Olympic Softball Organization, based in Bow, is holding tryouts for the 12U, 14U, and 16U teams at the Plymouth State University Fieldhouse on Saturday, Jan. 8. The teams are coached by college and former college players and will compete in ASA, Pony, and NSA tournaments primarily in June and July.

Tryout times for pitchers and catchers are 10 to 11:30 a.m. Position-player tryouts take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $15 per player, or $10 for players currently on the roster. The fee will be donated to Plymouth State University softball.
