Auburn 30 – Hooksett 23 Riley Cote scored eight points and Tyler Gahara added five, but Hooksett fell for the second time this season to unbeaten Auburn. Joshua Wilson, Rick Prindiville and Tony Vasquez pulled down most of the rebounds for visiting Hooksett. Cody Emery put up 17 points and Brandon Carter netted six to lead the hosts, now 8-0. Hooksett 26 – Litchfield 17 Rick Prindiville and Gahara each put up seven points for Hooksett. Cote and Tony Vasquez each added four points for the hosts. Prindiville led Hooksett, now 7-3, with 11 rebounds. Matt Goldstein tallied eight points for visiting Litchfield, 3-9 this season.

Rockettes plan weekend tryouts

BEDFORD – The Granite State Rockettes girls AAU basketball club will offer tryouts on consecutive Sundays, Jan. 30 and Feb. 6, at the St. Elizabeth Seton gym, 109 Meetinghouse Road in Bedford. The tryout time for U10 players is 1:30 to 3 p.m., for U11 players the time is 3 to 4 p.m., for U12 players the time is 4 to 5 p.m., for U13 players the time is 5 to 6 p.m., and for U14 to U17 players the time is 6 to 7:30 p.m. Please bring a valid AAU membership card, available at www.aausports.org.
