Granite State Tire & Battery and Uniroyal Tire have donated funds and equipment valued at more than $1,700 to Hooksett Youth Athletic Association Soccer as part of its nationwide youth soccer program.

“This is such a great program because everyone benefits. The kids get free soccer balls, the league receives funds, and we have the opportunity to meet new families,” said Norman Boucher of Granite State Tire & Battery on Hanover Street in Manchester. “This community has really been good to us, so we’re thrilled to be working with Hooksett Youth Athletic Association Soccer to give something back.”

Uniroyal Tire has completed its fourth year as a major sponsor of youth soccer, donating 350,000 free soccer balls given to families and more than $5 million in funds and equipment.
